wh asked: I do part time marketing for businesses. I have a client who wants me to market his free seminar on identity theft. Brunch is included on a Sunday. I advertise on about 10 free sites in the Cleveland Ohio area, but I do not think that will bring 50 people. He mailed out 16,000 flyers in the past and only had a few people. Any ideas how to advertise this event?

Rylen asked: I have to do a seminar on a text I’ve studied in class. So I’ve picked the importance of the theme of hope in Shawshank Redemption.
The only problem is I don’t have any idea to start it to get the audience’s attention.
Any ideas?

timmishere asked: Clients paid for a seminar that I was not able to give, due to mechanical failure by airline. We delayed it for weeks now. They want a refund, but I am a small company and already spent a lot of money on it, so I can only change the dates. Should I send some materials in advance in good faith? Its overseas so it will cost, but may be a good gesture?
Any business advice would be greatly appreciated.

supposed asked: I work for a not-for-profit organization. We have offices in Shanghai, Mexico, Canada and South Africa. We have a conference call with all offices around once a month. As you can imagine, it gets very expensive. We have been using Bell Canada. My managers are wary of VOIP as they have not had good luck with things like Skype/etc. So has anyone used any traditional conference calling companies other than Bell? Any that are great (ie. good international rates) or any to avoid? Thanks!

CoorsGirl asked: I am trying to turn a seminar put on by two speakers into a neutral article. They each speak of personal experiences. Does anyone know of a format to follow or a web page with guidelines to help me with this issue? I need it to flow more like an article and less like a seminar. I appreciate any help!

shatoyiab asked: I know a pastor who is hosting a millionaire business seminar at his church and charging money for it. He has a for-profit business where he speaks on different subjects and charges money for the seminars but most of them are at the church. Isn’t that illegal?
The pastor is charging $89.00 per person for this event.

miaib asked: My friend and I have to attend a work conference from the company we work in usa. We live in a whole year warmth weather country so we are used to wear high heels formal sandals with work outfits. Now this conference is in the states in the san francisco bay area this summer and is a morning conference and we wonder if is right to wear that kind of shoes there or if is neccesary another type of shoes. What to wear in general.
