How am I supposed to start a teaching seminar?

I have to do a seminar on a text I’ve studied in class. So I’ve picked the importance of the theme of hope in Shawshank Redemption.
The only problem is I don’t have any idea to start it to get the audience’s attention.
Any ideas?
